What is Gut Rehab?

Gut Rehab

Gut Rehab is an online 6-week program intended for those with gastrointestinal, autoimmune or other chronic conditions including: headaches, chronic sinus drainage, low energy, eczema, skin irritation, joint aches and/or asthma.

Each week you will be guided through one of the 5 R’s of Functional Nutrition to help repair the gut and ease symptoms, that may be related to undiagnosed food sensitivities. Removing specific foods from our diet will allow the body to recover and begin to function properly. For some, foods will need to be removed short term (4-6 weeks) and for others, the elimination may need to be long-term to keep symptoms at bay. This will vary greatly person to person.

Gut Rehab is designed to be user-friendly; each week providing evidence-based information, as well as applicable goals - complete with recipes, food lists and supplement suggestions.

Foods to Remove:

  • Gluten and gluten containing grains (barley, rye, spelt, wheat)
  • Dairy
  • Corn
  • Soy
  • Peanuts
  • Added or processed forms of sugar
The foods listed above tend to be the most common culprits to trigger symptoms in the general population. If there is an autoimmune component to your diagnosis, additional foods may be removed either short or long-term.
